Dr. Kimberly Rosenthal Tinge
Dr. Tinge is a graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry. As a student, she did special rotations in contact lenses and low vision, and won an award for her work in vision therapy. Dr. Tinge is the past president of the Southwestern Illinois Optometric Society and a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Extension Program. She is a frequent speaker at local civic organizations. Dr. Tinge is the granddaughter of Dr. Robert H. Rosenthal, our founder.
Dr. Valerie Barber
Valerie Barber, O.D., has been practicing optometry for 30 years. She grew up in Madison County, IL, and resides in Edwardsville. She often describes optometry as the “best job ever”. She truly enjoys taking care of all types of patients, from 1-year-olds to 101. Solving her patients’ visual needs brings her great joy. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her adult children play music, yoga, and social dancing.
Joanne Reidelberger, Office Manager
Joanne has been with us since 1986. She has been trained to do a variety of jobs in the office. She enjoys the patient interaction and the challenge of everyday situations.
Keith Droege, Optician
Keith has over 40 years of experience in the optical field. He has an Optical Technician degree from George C. Wallace Community College and is certified with the American Board of Opticians (ABO). Although Keith is now retired, we’re fortunate that he still fills in when needed.
Zoie Waymouth, Optician
Zoie joined our practice in 2026 as an Optician. She has been in the field since 2017. She will bring her expertise to help you pick out a frame just for you.
Sylvia Davis-Doss, Optician
Sylvia joined our practice in 2026 as an Optician. She has been in the field over 15 years. She bring over lots over optical experience. She will greet you with a smile when she takes you back to pick out the perfect frame.
Ashley Sims-Parish, Technician
Ashley Sims-Parish joined our practice in 2023 as a Technician. She has been in the field since 2019. She does an excellent job in multitasking with vision therapy, technician, receptionist and marketing.
Allyssa Schreiber, Technician
Allyssa Schreiber joined our practice in 2025 as a Technician. She has been in the field since 2009 and brings ophthalmology experience to our office. She earned a degree in ophthalmology and proudly served 10 years in the Air Force National Guard.
Sophia Kutz, Technician
Sophia Kutz joined our practice in 2026 as a Technician. She has been in the field since 2020.
Sydney Thole, Technician
Sydney Thole joined the practice in 2020 as a Technician. Prior to joining our team, she gained valuable experience as an EMT and Er nurse, bringing a strong medical background and compassionate patient care to our practice.
Dawn Cera, Receptionist
Dawn Cera joined the practice in 2022 as a Receptionist.
